The Library will be closed today because of the snowstorm. We expect to be ready to open for regular hours tomorrow (Sat., 10-1).

The Library will be closed on Friday Feb. 4th because of expected snow and ice conditions. We hope to reopen for regular hours on Saturday (10:00 – 1:00).

The Franklin Library will be closed on Saturday 1/29 because of the anticipated severe storm. Please stay in and stay safe everyone.

The Library is closed today because of the weather. The snow is still coming down and it is covering big patches of ice; very slippery. Be careful out there.

We have a winner! The Giant stocking drawing took place a few minutes ago. The winning ticket belongs to Karen Davis. Congratulations Karen! Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and helped the Library to keep going strong! It was an overwhelming response and we are deeply grateful. We are raffling off another giant (4 1/2 ‘ tall) handmade stocking, includes: 4 stuffed animals, 4 Little Golden Books (Christmas classics), Lindor chocolates, 3 Christmas dvds (Charlie Brown Christmas, Miracle on 34^th St., Nightmare Before Christmas, 2 Legos sets, 2 Jigsaw puzzles (Solar system, Country scene), Watercolor paints, 96-crayon set, Mancala game, Compass, Holiday dog toy, Rawlings major league baseball with Red Sox logo, Slinky, Hot Wheels, and more to come! Tickets are just $3.00 each, all proceeds benefit the Library.

The Library will be closed on Thanksgiving, but will reopen on Friday, Nov. 26th from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Once again, thank you so much to all who participated in the pie sale yesterday. Happy Thanksgiving!
