GOT PIES! Do you have a long list of food to prepare for your Thanksgiving dinner? Here’s a suggestion to save you time in the kitchen and help your local library. On Tuesday, Nov 23 from 4pm – 7pm stop by the Franklin Library and purchase a pie, or two! Pies are $20 each with all proceeds to benefit our library. Help us pay our heat and utility bills to keep open through the winter, and to continue adding all the new children’s, YA, and adult books and movies you love. Mark your calendars and STOP BY TO BUY A PIE!

Good news! The Library will now be open 4 days a week:

On Wednesday the Library will begin following the changed mask guidelines from Gov. Mills and the CDC (see poster below). Library staff Cathy FitzGerald (Wednesdays) and Monica Czerniawski (Saturdays) are both fully vaccinated, but will choose whether or not to wear masks depending on situation and/or comfort level.

Please join us on the grounds of the Franklin Community Center for the introduction of “Story Trail by the Bay”, a new children’s book interactive outdoor project of the Franklin Library. Fun for the whole family! Memorial Day afternoon at 2:00.
