Library Catalog System Problem: if you try to search our online catalog you may receive a Microsoft “unsafe site” warning on a red screen. This is a problem at the catalog system source (LibraryCat.org or TinyCat). They have been trying to solve the problem with Microsoft for over two weeks.

If you want to search for available titles in our collection, try the catalog, but back-out immediately if you get the warning screen. Sorry for the inconvenience – we hope to have the problem corrected soon.

Very little snow all winter, but once spring arrived – one storm after another! Looks like a lot of snow and wind. Stay safe everyone!

Library Open House – Weekend of Dec. 9^th, 10^th

Stop by the Library on Sat. Dec. 9^th: 10-4 and Sun. Dec. 10^th 1-4 for a special library open house.  Enjoy complimentary sweets, treats and hot beverages – and for lunch homemade chicken soup!  See this year’s giant stocking and buy a raffle ticket ($3.00 each).  Make it a Franklin holiday weekend: in addition to the Library celebrations, check out the Downeast Festival of Trees at the Vets Club and the Penny Sale at Franklin Baptist Church.
