Because there appears to be a great deal of uncertainty as to how long the coronavirus lives on surfaces (books, plastic, tables, etc.) we have decided to close the entire Library building, including the front porch, so that we can protect our patrons and staff. We regret that we will not be able to fulfill book and other material requests. However, we are still providing 24 hr. free WiFi (network = library, no PW needed) which can be accessed from the Library parking lot or deck / picnic table. We will reevaluate the situation on April 1st. Please check this website (franklinmainelibrary.org) and our Facebook page (facebook.com/FranklinLibrary).
